Blue Chip BBQ got the 2012 season started last weekend in Liberty, In at “Smoke on the Water”. We finished 8^thOverall out of 31 teams, we had a 9^thplace Chicken, 13^thplace Ribs, 1^stplace Pork & 12^thplace Brisket. We thought our brisket was a lot better than that but the judges didn’t see it that way. We were real happy with our 1^stplace Pork that category killed us last year for some reason but a lot of practice this winter hopefully will continue to pay off.
